AlphaTheta announced a new Rekordbox Studio Plan on October 13, 2026. For $7 a month or $72 a year, it bundles Bitwig Studio Essentials, a full digital audio workstation, with direct access to your Rekordbox library, so a DJ can open a track already in rotation straight into a production project.

The facts

  • Studio Plan costs $7 a month or $72 a year (a $12 saving over monthly), with a 30-day free trial.
  • It bundles Bitwig Studio Essentials, with 40 instruments and effects and 10 modulators.
  • You can browse your Rekordbox collection inside Bitwig and import a track directly into a project. BPM, key, hot cue points and vocal position data carry over automatically.
  • It runs on Windows 10/11 or macOS Ventura 13 and later, Intel, AMD or Apple Silicon, with 8GB RAM minimum, and activates on up to three Mac or Windows devices.
  • Stem separation, splitting a track into vocals, drums, bass and the rest, is not part of the launch version. AlphaTheta says it is planned for a future update.

AlphaTheta positions Studio Plan as a way to let DJs "edit, remix and produce" starting from tracks they already own, according to The Fader's coverage of the launch. Full details are on the official Studio Plan page.

What it means for your DJ library

If you have ever wanted to pull an acapella or an instrumental out of a track in your own library to build an edit, Studio Plan is AlphaTheta's first real answer, once stem separation actually ships. Right now it buys a production app with your BPM, key and cues already filled in, not the one piece most remix work actually starts with: isolated stems. If splitting a track into vocals, drums, bass and the rest is what you need today, Stems in the Rimeo app on your computer already does that, and sends the result straight back into Rekordbox.

Before you subscribe

  • Check your machine meets Bitwig's requirements: Windows 10/11 or macOS Ventura 13+, 8GB RAM.
  • Decide if you need stem separation now. It is not in the launch version, only promised for later.
  • Use the 30-day free trial before committing to either billing rate.
  • Note the three-device activation limit if you produce on more than one computer.

Stems from your own DJ library, today

A track in your Rekordbox library is now one subscription away from a full DAW, with its tempo and cues already attached. If what you need right now is the stems, you don't have to wait for AlphaTheta's roadmap to get them.

Get the stems today, from your own DJ library.

Stems in the Rimeo app on your computer splits any track in your DJ library into vocals, drums, bass and the rest, and exports them as 24-bit WAV. Add the result to Rekordbox in one step, and the files never leave your computer.
